We Need a Revolution

So, my brother is pretty much the man for a lot of reasons... but most recently he is leading the charge to hire a progressive, responsible, community minded police chief in Albany, New York after a long history of gun violence, racism and stagnation in the city.
Here he is telling the local news and city council who is boss...

And what would social activism be without some good old fashioned drug rap? This goes hard...

Above is my dude Big Ben... he reps Cleveland hard and can be found roaming around Public Square on most brisk Ohio mornings.
Anyways, as I continue to make this the SUPREME of blogs and only put out that super hot shit once every couple of months... I guess I'm due for some super hot shit. Here are the MP3s for my last show this summer on MTVU's favorite radio station.

As for that super duper... my dude Pav from the Foreign Beggars just shot this one over to me...

It's called "Don't Dhoow It" (thats British for 'Don't Do It') and this is the remix by Brooklyn producer Machinedrum, who you might know from his work with Theophilus London, including this fantastic one right here.

Oh yeah, and big shout out to everyone who came out to the big shindig up in Coventry a couple weeks back... it was Dizzee Rascal (Bonkers)

Amazing

Below is video footage of the latest project from French photographer and artist JR. Ive been on dude's nuts since I first saw his work in London (my photo of one of his pieces is above) about a year ago and then some more on the streets of Israel in January. Incredible...

mp3s of the last of this summer's radio shows are on their way after I eat some dinner...

Oh hi Kanye West

Due to my lack of internets... Kanye (he was soooo gassed of this) and the rest of the world beat me to the punch on posting this incredible video. These guys were my friends first though, so piss off yeezy.

Cleveland Rocks

I know, I know, its been a minute since I wrote something here... moving to Cleveland, not having internet, and my compulsive gambling, have kind of side tracked me for the last couple of weeks. Anyways the last couple of WICB shows are on their way once I get something better than this tea house wireless, but for now here is a little something in honor of my new home. I did an interview with Cleveland's own Kid Cudi a while back when Day n Nite first dropped and before Kanye and all the rest of you hipster D-bags thought he was the second coming. Vinnie Paz of Jedi Mind Tricks also stopped by to say whats up. Enjoy.

No Daggering!

Major Lazer "Pon De Floor" from Eric Wareheim on Vimeo.

So our show was almost as good as the new Major Lazer video (go to the Vimeo site and watch it in HD). Top quality daggering. I apologize if misogyny is becoming a key theme of the site... I swear I'm a pretty nice guy. See you live tonight at 10:00pm, http://wicb.org. Get some.

Trolff the Trolff

After a brief hiatus to get our G-Roots on, me and speck are back on the air to kick you in the teeth. New ish from The Roots, Beastie Boys, Guilty Simpson and Madlib, etc.
Dig in.
Get pitted.
Holler.

My mom wasn't crazy about this show (she still loves me though), but if you are into new ish from Raekwon, Zion-I, Slaughterhouse or throwback Clipse, Busta and M.O.P., you might feel a little bit different. Despite locking Specks out of the studio for about 45 minutes, I think we murked this one. We're taking this week off, see you at Grassroots.

That Boom Boom Pow

The show was cut about half an hour short by big explosions in honor of the birthday of our fine nation. Anyways... by the time my ears stopped bleeding and the ashes were out of my eyes we had finished a pretty decent show. Enjoy.

One More...

Here's a normal old show filled with smack-yourself-in-the-face hip hop muzak. Remember the mp3's can be downloaded by clicking on the divshare logo on the streaming player. Happy America day weekend. Go eat some meat, drink too much, and blow something up.

Tribute to the King (6/25/09)

Here is our tribute to Michael Jackson. Having only heard the news about his death a couple of hours before we went on the air, our catalog was limited but we still did our thing. Big ups to DJ Cappel for the bulk of the tunes.

From the Vaults (6/18/09)

For now shows will be posted in a pretty random order based on how I upload them and how busy me and Speck are getting with hot chicks and drinking cognac. This one right here is a gem from a couple of weeks back... all 12" singles from the deep, dark WICB vaults. All sorts of random joints for your enjoyment. Just click the divshare logo on the pop-up player to download the mp3, throw it on your ipod, burn it for grandma, sell it on the blackmarket, or whatever you like.

Boom boom pow.

Welcome to the Thunderdome

From now on this is where the magic happens. Weekly postings of our show, classic episodes, inteviews, and other goodness. Make sure to tune in every Thursday at 10pm est at http://wicb.org or 91.7 on your FM radio. Tell your mother we say hello.
